Parmesan & Garlic Crumbed Peppers
Makes 24
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups fresh bread crumbs
½ cup grated parmesan
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
¼ cup plain flour
1 egg, lightly beaten
24 (450g) Sandhurst Cheese Filled Peppers, drained
vegetable oil for deep frying
lemon wedges to serve
Here's How:
- Combine crumbs, parmesan, garlic and rosemary in a medium bowl.
- Place flour and egg in separate small bowls.
- Lightly coat peppers in flour, then dip in egg and roll in crumb mixture.
- Deep fry peppers in batches until golden; drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
