Goats' Cheese Canapés
  • Spread small rounds of sour dough toast with olive spread, top with goats' cheese and sprinkle with baby capers.

Parmesan & Garlic Crumbed Peppers

Makes 24

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups fresh bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated parmesan
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
1/4 cup plain flour
1 egg, lightly beaten
24 (450g) Sandhurst Cheese Filled Peppers, drained
vegetable oil for deep frying
lemon wedges to serve


Here's How:

  1. Combine crumbs, parmesan, garlic and rosemary in a medium bowl.
  2. Place flour and egg in separate small bowls.
  3. Lightly coat peppers in flour, then dip in egg and roll in crumb mixture.
  4. Deep fry peppers in batches until golden; drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Serve with lemon wedges.
